ACADEMIC PROGRAM

The Academy´s educational program is located at Lower Austria International School (L.A.I.S.) and is regarded as our most important component.

The program is designed to take on board children from different cultural and academic backgrounds. After 4 years in the Academy, students will be able to graduate with an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma (in addition to the Austrian High School Diploma called "Matura") - which prepares our students for university and college entrance around the world, while developing each student's self-confidence and self-discipline.

Dear Student,

As the headmistress of the Lower Austrian International School, I am very pleased to invite you to attend and thrive in our school community.


For 22 years I have been working in the Austrian education system. 11 years ago a team of teachers and I started a new school project where you may receive a dual qualification – the Higher School Certificate (GCE - A-level) and professional training twice a day in competitive sports. This young school is an IB Candidate School offering the International Baccalaureate Program (IB diploma). No matter which national or international school you come from, you will have an excellent preparation for admission to the finest colleges and universities all over the world.

We believe academic education, sports, culture and social behavior are integral parts of school life and much time is devoted to associate these areas. We are looking forward to having open communication with the  parents, the coaches and the educators of the boarding school to create best possible conditions for our students. Our aim is to bring out the full potential in each one of our athletes.

My educational background in Mathematics and Geography, studied at the University of Vienna, allow me to understand the rigors our students undertake on a daily basis.  Our program is designed to help them undertake their educational responsibilities while excelling athletically.
