Multi-Sport Cup 2011

In a pre season high level international tournament including teams from Belarus, Ukrane, Slovakia, Czech, Romania and Austria, our under 15 Stars/Tigers showed us all just what we can expect from them this season.
In some great hockey games the young Vienna team defeated some very good competition along the way to claim the tournament victory.

With just one loss and five wins they showed that they can play with any team in thier age group. There were contributions from all players and it was especially nice to see the 98 born players including Maxi Wehrhan in net coming up big. All in all it was a great tournament and as coach I would like to compliment the team and parents not only from a hockey standpoint but also the way the young players and families got along with oneanother.

It takes a team effort from everyone to be successful and the group is truly a team of winners! We all had a super time in Michalovce and look forward to defending the title next season. A big thanks to Gregor Sztatecsny for his hard work organizing the trip and to the parents who drove the seven hours each way to the far eastern side of Slovakia to cheer us on.
