The U15 Austrian National League Season has come to an end with some great experiences for our players and myself. We have had a great run and winning the title in our first season was the icing on the Strudel. We started out with no idea of how we would do but our goal was simple, keep improving each time out. As everyone in sport knows this is not always possible but I think those of you who have witnessed this season would agree that we have come a long way. From our weakest momemts to our best performances, I am very proud to have been along to watch these young players challenge themselves and each other to continually improve. One thing is for certain, we all love to play and as long as we never forget it is just a game we will always be able to enjoy it. I would like to personally thank all players who wore the L.A. Stars Jersey and congratulate them on thier effort and development this past year. Everyone contributed when they were called upon and it was nice to see the level of enthusiasm that each player brought with him or her to the rink for every game. I wish all of you all the best for the coming season and look forward to following your hockey progress in the coming years.

The 48er Tigers / L.A. Stars relationship proved to be very rewarding for all of us and my thanks must go out to coaches Jindra Vlcek, Tommy Wehrhan and Jason O'Leary who did such a great job preparing an developing these young athletes. I would also like to thank Hans Jeschek and Hans Leitner for their outstanding job as managers on the bench and behind the scenes and the many parents who offered their assitance whenever asked. Our overall success with this program goes back to the willingness to cooperate on all levels and create an atmosphere in which all our players can learn, thrive and enjoy this great game.

At this point I would especially like to thank Hary Schroeder for his untiring efforts in making this relationship work so well and I look forward to a long successful relationship with the 48er Tigers in the years to come.

Elias Vorlicek, Coach U-15 48er Tigers / L.A. Stars,

Director of Hockey Operations Okanagan Hockey Academy Europe and L.A. Stars
