In U17 league action Saturday, the Varsity Stars fell 4-1 to the visiting Innsbuck Sharks. The Stars started veteran netminder Raphael Ungar in goal, but he was unable to stem the Innsbruck offense, and Gonzalo Ruiz’s third period tally was the lone puck to get past the Innsbruck goalie.

The Stars battled hard but could not manage to harbor any major offensives as they played much of the game on the perimeter, unable to penetrate the Shark’s defense.
